The article talks about how women are affected by gender discrimination in various parts of life, especially work. It talks about how many disadvantages woman experiences compare to men and how they never treated the same. It talks about how women and men’s differences in pay checks even when working the same job, they are still payed less compared to men. The article shows different tables on studies they did to look at the statistics on discrimination against genders. One study being to show different countries statistics to compare numbers on gender discrimination. Another study called GEMM to show how men and woman are treated in work.
I will use the tables in my essay to show the statistics of much gender discrimination happens and what countries suffer the most from it. I will also use the examples of how women are affected by the everything to show how harmful this problem is.

The article talks about discrimination against woman and how that affected their mental and physical health. In the article it talks about the difference students and surveys done to see which types of women get discriminated the most whether its by race, ethnicity, class differences, age, or sexual. The questions in the survey containing of if they ever faced discrimination in things like jobs, interviews, health care, education, housing. Police encounters, political, etc. Questions about if they have faced violence or harassment were also asked on the survey: This helped figure out the negative impacts of discrimination again woman. The article examples how all those things have negative effects on woman’s mental health especially.
I will use the studies and examples of the effects of mental health for woman in my essay to show the negative impacts discrimination has and which type of woman are affected most. This will help me show how many women experience these types of things daily with simple tasks that must be done in life.
Fox, J., Hurtado, N., & O’Campo, M. (2022). GENDER DISCRIMINATION IN JOB POSTINGS: DOES IT STILL EXIST? Journal of Business Studies Quarterly, 11(4), 1–7.
In this article it explains in detail why discrimination against woman still exists and is still a problem today. A lot of people claim that the problem has been solved but, in the article, they showed that wasn’t true. It speaks about how stereotypes play a significant role in what jobs are given to woman or men. Men are used with words like leader and dominant while women are explained by words like understanding and support. Woman are seen as not fit for certain jobs because they aren’t “strong” enough whether that means mentally or physically. The article explains even if process has been done it’s still not enough, woman and men are still not treated equally or payed the same. Even in jobs that are considered a “man’s job” or a “woman’s job” you can see how much of difference in pay checks of how much a person makes.
I will use this article to show evidence on why discrimination is still a thing even if some people claim for it not to be. I can use the difference examples used to show the reason it’s still such a big problem even if the issue has had a lot of progress since the old times.
